delivered through Zebrar
Dozens of headsets, one story, and a whole stadium to walk through.
A multiplayer location-based VR adventure based on The Little Prince, built with Zebrar, where groups of visitors walk freely through a shared virtual world.
The brief
Location-based VR is unforgiving: dozens of people in headsets, walking freely in the same physical space, all seeing the same world at the same time, for forty-five minutes, session after session. The experience had to be beautiful, synchronised and safe, and it had to keep running all day.
What we built
- 01
Multiplayer networking that keeps every visitor's view of the world and of each other in sync as they move through the space.
- 02
Free-roam VR with physical space mapped to virtual locations, from desert sands to the stars.
- 03
Operator tooling for a venue: session control, player management and recovery when a headset drops out.
What it does now
Groups of visitors walk through The Little Prince together, headset to headset, in a free-roam experience touring venues internationally.
