Syngenta Canada · delivered through Braveshell

Match the brands, grow the wheat, learn the range.

A portrait touchscreen game for Syngenta Canada's trade show stand, delivered through Braveshell, where growers pick their soil zone, match Syngenta brand cards to grow a wheat field, take a quick quiz and leave their details.

The brief

Syngenta wanted growers at the stand to come away knowing the crop protection range, not just the logo, and to leave their details on the way out. A brochure does neither. The game had to pull people in from the aisle, teach a brand in the few seconds after each match, and run all day on a tall kiosk screen without anyone from the team standing over it.

What we built

  • 01

An attract screen and a soil zone choice, Black Soil or Brown Soil, that sets the deck: nine brand pairs or seven, matched to what grows where the player farms.

  • 02

A card matching game where every match grows the wheat field from bare soil to harvest and fills the silo, with a celebration for newly launched products and a reveal of each matched brand.

  • 03

A three-question quiz on what the player just learned, then a lead capture screen for name, email and farm or company, and a play again loop for the next person in line.

  • 04

Motion on every screen, from card flips and pop-ins to light bursts and a drifting wheat field, tuned so a keen tapper can skip ahead and a reset is always one touch away.

What it does now

Growers play through the range, learn a brand with every match and leave their details at the end, while the stand team talks to the next one.

Touchscreen activations that capture leads

A touchscreen activation turns a stand into something people walk up to and play. Match & Win is a gamified activation: a visitor picks a soil zone, matches brand cards, answers three quick questions and leaves their name, email and farm on the last screen. Every finished game ends on the lead capture form, so the stand collects contacts from the people who stopped to play.

Gamified activations suit lead capture at in-person events because the game earns the ask. The form arrives after the visitor has played and learned something, not on a clipboard before they have seen anything, and every lead arrives with the same fields filled in the same way.

We build touchscreen activations for trade shows, expos, field days and brand events: matching games, stand quizzes, product explorers and 3D models, each with an attract loop, big touch targets, a reset for the next person in line, and a lead capture step that can send contacts to HubSpot, Salesforce or your CRM with a follow-up email.

Questions

What is a touchscreen activation?

A touchscreen activation is an interactive experience on a large touchscreen at a trade show, expo or brand event. Instead of handing out a brochure, the stand invites visitors to play a game, take a quiz or explore a product, and usually asks for their details at the end.

What is a gamified activation?

A gamified activation wraps your message in a short game, like the card matching game in Syngenta's Match & Win. Each move in the game teaches something about your products, and finishing it gives the visitor a natural point to leave their details.

How does lead capture work at an in-person event?

The last screen of the activation asks for the details you need, such as name, email and company, with a skip option for people who only want to play. Leads can go straight into HubSpot, Salesforce or your CRM, and an automatic follow-up email can go out the same day.

What does a touchscreen activation cost?

Indicatively, excluding GST and hardware: a templated touchscreen or quiz app is $5,000 to $15,000, a custom touchscreen or quiz with video, animation and a bespoke result experience is $15,000 to $30,000, and lead capture with CRM integration adds $4,000 to $12,000. Every build gets a fixed price before we start.

Can we reuse it at more than one event?

Yes. Build it once and run it at every show on your calendar and on a reception screen in between. We make the content editable, so a new product or a changed question does not mean paying for a rebuild.

Do you build activations outside Melbourne?

Yes. Rootech is based in Melbourne and delivers remotely across Australia: the software is installed on the screen you hire and set up with your team over a call. Match & Win was delivered through Braveshell for Syngenta Canada.
